You’re up pulling an all nighter finishing those papers and cramming for tests. We all have been there before, so we all know how hungry that hard work makes us. Most of the time, it is easiest to grab a bag of chips and a soda. Here are a couple easy snacks and recipes that are perfect to grab and eat without a huge mess or production.
Ants on a Log
For this recipe, you’re going to need celery sticks, your favorite peanut butter, and raisins. Most of us have eaten this snack in preschool, but the peanut butter is a great ingredient for filling your stomach without eating a bunch of junk. All you have to do is spread the peanut butter across the stick of celery and add some raisins on top.
This recipe takes a little preparation, but if you plan ahead and make a few to keep in the fridge, it is a great snack to have. Fist, you must core and slice the apples so that they look like a CD. Then, you spread peanut butter onto a slice of apple, and place another slice on top. I like to add some crushed up nuts onto my sandwich, because nuts are proven to be healthy and boost brain functioning.
With these snakcs, your body will love you more if you put in nutritious food rather than fatty foods.
