Will Hewitt is the new vice president for the Class of 2020. He was sworn in this week.
There are several events hosted by the Black Student Union to celebrate Black History Month, including a movie series every Tuesday at 7 p.m. in Norman James, with movies “Freedom Writers,” Lee Daniel’s “The Butler,” and “The Great Debaters.” On Thursday,  Feb. 16, there will be an Alumni Panel with alumni and students of color discussing issues at 6 p.m. in Hynson Lounge.
If you or a friend is interested in running for SGA president or vice president, those elections are fast approaching. Further information will be released soon.
SGA is still interested in new senators, regardless of whether or not your dorm already has them.
The Secretary of Service has taken out the two week waiting period for the service liaison for each club.
Sophomore SOAR is this Wednesday from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m.
A suicide prevention workshop with Josh Rivedal will take place Wednesday at 7 p.m. in the Goose Nest.
The school purchased a handicap accessible van, and are still in the process of making doors to each building handicap accessible.
$2,405.78 was reallocated to Habitat for Humanity for their transportation this spring break.
