Volleyball
The Shorewomen hosted their annual Washington College Invitational Tournament last weekend. After rigorous and unyielding play, the Shorewomen unfortunately were defeated by Gallaudet, Stockton, rival Salisbury and King's Colleges.
Although the team did not prosper this weekend, individuals continue to grow into great volleyball players. Co-captain Katie Bierzonski totalled 32 digs on the weekend and sophomore Katie Froning played outstandingly throughout the weekend. Bierzonski was also named to the All-Tournament Team.
This weekend the Shorewomen will travel to the nation's capital to try and pick up their first win in the Gallaudet Tournament.
