The Elm wishes to note that in last week's article regarding the resignation of Professor Mark Hubley, some of Professor Kate Verville's statements were an inaccurate reflection of her feelings.
She did not directly criticize any individuals, referring the Elm to her previous letters that had been released by Professor Hubley.
When asked whether she could tell job candidates that WC is a good place to work, she responded, "It is certainly a good place to work, but that view has been effected in some ways."
When asked if she felt comfortable with her answer, she said that "I can't mean it on the same level as before, but I wouldn't say something I didn't believe. I do think it will affect our ability to hire."
