The sisters of Zeta Tau Alpha would like to thank all those who participated in the Yoplait Save Lids to Save Lives Yogurt Eating Contest. The event was hosted to educate students and raise awareness about breast cancer. Fifteen participants inhaled 171 yogurts in six minutes. The pink lids from the Yoplait yogurts will be donated to the Save Lids to Save Lives Campaign.
Zeta Tau Alpha will be collecting the lids through Dec. 18. For each lid sent to Yoplait, they donate 10 cents to the Susan G. Komen for the Cure Foundation.
Congratulations to the winner of the contest, John Hartz, who consumed an astonishing 18 yogurts in six minutes. The event was in conjunction with Zeta Tau Alpha’s philanthropy, Breast Cancer Awareness and Education. Join the sisters on Nov. 6 for PINKAPALOZZA, an event to celebrate and conclude October’s Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
