The Washington College sailing team finished sixth out of 18 teams at the War Memorial, the MAISA Fall Co-Ed Championships. Senior Skipper Conner Blouin lead the team to a third place finish in the A division, the highest finish for WC ever at the War Memorial. WC also finished 16 out of 17 at the Navy Top Nine Invitational.

Blouin and freshman Matt Lawler and junior Max Kurland gave WC 12 top five finishes in 18 races, finishing first in four of the races. Sophomore skipper Mike Whitford and junior crew Caroline Hill finished eighth in the B division. They finished in the top five in six of their races.

At the Top Nine Invitational, sophomore skipper Mildred Conroy and freshman crew Emily Fetherston placed 14th in the A division with freshman Sam Bedinger and senior Keith Webber finishing 17th in the B division.

The next contest for the WC sailors is on the weekend of Nov. 14 and 15 when they travel to Harvard to compete in the Atlantic Coast Dinghy Championships.
