In last week’s article, “Student’s Car Stolen and Sunk at Betterton Beach,” errors were made in the reporting of the incident. The car was found in Still Pond Creek, not in the Chesapeake at Betterton Beach, said Director of Public Safety Jerry Roderick. Roderick also said the car was found off-shore 50 feet in three feet of water.
He said the car was taken from campus at approximately 11:20 p.m. on Nov. 7. Public Safety is currently reviewing survelliance from on-campus cameras and working with the Kent County Bureau of Investigation on the case.
Roderick said the investigation is still active.
